INSTALLING ORANGE FLASHING LED GRILL HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER
Installing LED flash units in your car’s grille is a precise and specialized job. Sometimes it may happen that you have a beautiful LED grill flash, but you have to install it on your grill through a roundabout route. Of course, you don’t want to drill holes in your car or vehicle. However, there may be various reasons for modifying your bodywork. For example, your grill may have sloping polycarbonate blades, making it difficult to angle the grill properly. This makes correct mounting much more difficult. To help with the mounting of our LED flash units, we have developed mounting brackets. These mounting brackets can make it easier to mount your LED flash units.
WHAT TYPE OF LED FLASH UNITS FIT IN THE GRILL AND WHY IS THE COLOR ORANGE USED?
You are looking for LED grills but have never added them to your car before. Now you can choose to install these orange colored LED grill flash units or build them. The difference between the two is mainly the way of mounting. For a flush mount installation with your orange LED grille flash units, a modification to your car is required in many cases. This means that you need to make a built-in spotlight in which the flash units can be well hidden. On the grill of many cars (possibly including yours) there is sometimes a wonderful space for this. The only thing you have to take into account are the connection points of your power supply. In many cases, you can connect the grill flash to existing wiring and battery voltage. Below the construction of the LED flash in the grill, you can understand that the LED flash is built ‘on top’ of the bodywork.
WILL THESE LED HEADLIGHT MOUNTING BRACKETS ALSO FIT THE GRILL?
The LED flash units that you will find in our range are suitable for the new mounting brackets. In fact, these mounting brackets have been specially developed for flash units from the TRALERT® range. By incorporating a 90 degree angle into the mounting brackets, the placement possibilities are much greater. The large surface area of the LED flash unit mounting brackets contains strategic cable connection points. This allows you to neatly hide and connect cables behind the mount. You can also see by mounting project if there are fewer changes to make to your car when using a grill mounting bracket. By powder reclaiming the mounting brackets, you don’t have to worry about corroding the metal.
WHAT QUALITY MARK SHOULD AN ORANGE FLASH LED GRILL HAVE?
The most common LED flash, both inside and outside the grill, is the orange LED flash. Orange, also known as ‘amber’, is the color used to signal special situations on public roads. You can also recognize the amber color in the LED marker lights.
The quality mark that must be met when warning of a special traffic situation is the ECE-R65 quality mark. In many cases, a few flashing orange LED grills are not necessary to meet this mark. Here you have at least one LED turn signal light, LED flash bar or two additional rear flashes to meet this mark. CAN I USE ANOTHER COLOR FLASH UNITS LIKE BLUE IN ADDITION TO ORANGE LED GRILLES?
Colors of flash units other than orange are generally not allowed to be mounted in your car. To take an example, the LED grill flashing lights are blue. This color flash is used by emergency services and can be found in ambulances and police cars. Basically these are the same flash units as the orange colored LED grill flash units but equipped with blue. Sometimes you see a normal looking car, which has blue colored LED grille flash units. Then you can assume that it is plainclothes policemen or a very disobedient citizen.
